Manny Lopes

Manny Lopes has dedicated his career to increasing health care access and creating equitable and innovative solutions for populations experiencing disparities due to health-related social needs. Today, he serves as President and CEO of Fallon Health, a nationally recognized health care services organization that is both a payor and a provider of care.

Manny was previously President and CEO of East Boston Neighborhood Health Center (EBNHC), now known as NeighborHealth, one of the nation’s largest Federally Qualified Health Centers and the largest community-based primary care health system in Massachusetts. He also was Executive Vice President of Public Markets and Government Relations for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts with responsibilities for the company’s Medicare division, achieving growth through innovation while also improving consumer experience and health outcomes. Prior to joining Fallon Health, Manny served as interim CEO of Fenway Health, a pioneer in U.S. health care for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Manny’s dedication to community health and well-being has made a lasting impact in Massachusetts. He was a co-founder of the MassPACE Association  and former chair of the Boston Public Health Commission. While at EBNHC, Manny played a pivotal role in guiding Boston's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, leading the effort to develop the city’s testing strategy and establishing EBNHC as the first testing provider in the state and largest testing provider in the region. He is a founding member of the Health Equity Compact, an initiative launched in 2022 that aims to combat racial and ethnic disparities in Massachusetts laid bare by the pandemic.

Manny earned his MBA in 2009 from the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University.
