Fallon Health and Discover Central Massachusetts to host Worcester’s Independence Day Fireworks Celebration June 28
Worcester, Mass., June 14, 2024—Presenting sponsor Fallon Health, in partnership with Discover Central Mass., is pleased to announce the schedule of events for Worcester’s Annual Independence Day Fireworks Celebration. The free, family-friendly event will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024 at East Park (Cristoforo Colombo), located at 180 Shrewsbury Street, Worcester, MA. The rain date is June 29.
“The collaboration that makes Worcester’s Independence Day Celebration happen is truly a testament to how we can best serve the community when we work together,” said Christine Cassidy, Chief Communications Officer. “We’ve been supporting this patriotic celebration for 30 years and are proud to keep the tradition going in 2024. We commend Discover Central Massachusetts for all they are doing to bring this incredible event together and hope to see everyone there with their picnic blankets and chairs!”
Schedule:
4:00 p.m.- Park opens
4:30 p.m.- Food court and fun for kids (splash park, playground, and more!)
5:00 p.m.- Entertainment and live music from Silver Arrow Band
9:30 p.m.- Fireworks
