Fallon Health’s Chief Human Resources Officer, Jill Green Lebow, honored with Katherine F. Erskine Award
Worcester, Mass., September 13, 2023— Fallon Health is pleased to announce that Jill Green Lebow, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources for the nationally recognized not-for-profit health care services organization, is a 2023 Katherine F. Erskine Award recipient. Jill was honored by the YWCA of Central Massachusetts in the business and law category at its annual Tribute to Women held at {Mechanics Hall} on September 12.
In her role as CHRO, Jill leads the creation and execution of Human Resources strategies that support Fallon Health’s workforce of approximately 1,300 and its mission. She is responsible for the functional areas of talent acquisition, talent management, and total rewards and ensures that human resources programs and services are aligned to attract, engage, and develop the talent necessary for Fallon Health to meet the growing, diverse, and evolving needs of the organization and of the members it serves.
Some of Jill’s notable accomplishments at Fallon Health include:
- Mandating an initiative for departments to develop action plans to address and track progress related to employee engagement.
- Initiating a cultural competency program that included training and recruitment as well as the development of an Employee Resource Group (ERG).
- Increasing the diversity of Fallon Health’s workforce. In the last 12 months, 15% of all hires were multilingual.
- Serving as executive sponsor of Fallon Health’s Health Equity Workgroup to identify and prioritize opportunities to address disparities among the organization’s membership.
Jill leads by example by putting Fallon Health’s community-focused mission in action as a volunteer for the United Way Day of Caring, Worcester Pride, Working for Worcester, and other opportunities. She has also been instrumental in partnering with Girls Inc.’s Eureka! Externship program so that young girls from the community can gain work experience, interact with professional role models and have exposure to careers in health care. With a workforce comprised of more than 80% women, Jill is also a natural mentor to her colleagues. For several years she provided Human Resources guidance to the Worcester Boys and Girls Club and regularly volunteers at Club events. She recently joined the Board of Directors at Open Sky Community Services.
Jill was previously honored for her professional achievements by the Worcester Business Journal with the publication’s 2017 Outstanding Women in Business award.
