Alice Bonner Elected to Fallon Health Board of Directors

Worcester, MA, August 26, 2020 — Fallon Health, a nationally recognized, not-for-profit health care services organization, is pleased to announce the recent election of Alice Bonner, PhD, RN, FAAN, to its Board of Directors.

“We are excited to welcome Dr. Bonner to Fallon Health’s Board of Directors,” said Frederick M. Misilo, Jr., Esq., Chairman of the Board at Fallon Health. “Her insights into aging and dedication to addressing senior issues are vitally important as Fallon continues to expand its breadth of expertise with this growing population.”

Dr. Bonner brings over 25 years’ experience in creating and improving age-friendly health systems to Fallon’s board. Her work includes terms as Secretary of the Executive Office of Elder Affairs (EOEA) for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and as Director of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ (CMS) nursing home division. She is a geriatric nurse practitioner and currently serves as Director of Strategic Partnerships for the CAPABLE Program and Adjunct Faculty at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. She is also Senior Advisor for Aging at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI).

Dr. Bonner received her Bachelor of Arts in biology and society from Cornell University, her Bachelor of Science in nursing degree from Columbia University, her Master’s in Nursing from the University of Lowell and her Doctorate in nursing from the University of Massachusetts in Worcester, Mass.
