Richard Burke is President and CEO of Fallon Health, a nationally recognized not-for-profit health care services organization predominantly focused on offering government-sponsored health insurance programs such as Medicare and Medicaid. He has led the organization since 2015 and has held numerous other leadership positions during his 25-year tenure. In his current role, Richard has positioned Fallon Health as a leader in providing high-quality, coordinated care and coverage to the diverse communities we serve.
Prior to his appointment as President and CEO, Richard held the position of President of Senior Care Services and Government Programs. His responsibilities included overseeing Fallon Health’s government product lines serving both aging populations and high-risk populations of all ages, including Medicare Advantage, Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), and Senior Care Options (SCO) plans.
Throughout his career with Fallon Health, Richard has led the organization to grow its government programs business. This growth includes the largest statewide expansion of Medicare Advantage and SCO in the company’s history, launching three MassHealth Accountable Care Organizations and making its PACE program one of the ten largest in the country.
A graduate of Assumption University, Richard holds a master’s degree in political science from Boston College and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Johnson School of Management at Cornell University.
