Fallon Health announces new corporate headquarters

Local health plan commits to remaining in downtown Worcester

Worcester, Massachusetts, November 6, 2023 – Fallon Health today announced it will move its corporate headquarters to One Mercantile Street, Worcester. The move, scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2024, will provide the leading health care services organization with the space and resources it needs to accommodate its evolving workforce, support further business expansion in government-sponsored health insurance programs and stay true to its roots in the local community. Fallon Health has called Worcester home since its inception more than 45 years ago.

One Mercantile will deliver a modern, collaborative workplace that will retain and attract Fallon Health employees and serve as a hub of innovation to serve its growing membership in programs that include Medicare and Medicaid. Additional benefits include opportunities for Fallon Health to promote its brand through close proximity to the Fallon Health Pavilion at the DCU Center and Polar Park, home of the Worcester Red Sox, of which Fallon Health is a founding partner.

“A big part of working for Fallon Health is being able to foster a sense of community and a collaborative culture within our team. One Mercantile provides the opportunity for us to deliver on our commitment to supporting our employees so that they can best serve our members, providers, and partners,” said Jill Green Lebow, SVP and Chief Human Resources Officer for Fallon Health. “Many of our approximately 1,300 employees live and work in Worcester County, and we are humbled by the support we continue to receive from the community.”

“Fallon Health is an important and long-standing business in Worcester and Central Massachusetts. As a major employer, their continued presence in the downtown will benefit many area businesses,” said Tim Murray, President and CEO of the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce.

“Fallon Health’s move to CitySquare comes at critical moment for downtown and demonstrates their commitment to the City of Worcester and the local economy,” said Worcester City Manager Eric D. Batista. “The vitality of a neighborhood is built on a range of uses, including residential, commercial and cultural. We are thrilled to have a business that has dedicated more than 45 years to the city anchor and immerse itself in downtown Worcester.”
