Fallon Health Weinberg-PACE names Mary Kay Vause Program Director

Worcester, Mass., April 3, 2018 — Fallon Health Weinberg is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Mary Kay Vause to Program Director of its Fallon Health Weinberg-PACE program. 

Fallon Health Weinberg-PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) offers adults over age 55 in Erie County an innovative program to help manage chronic care needs and remain living as independently as possible at home or in the community.

Vause is responsible for administrative, professional, clinical and operational leadership of the program, as well as strategic planning and coordinating and evaluating services provided by Fallon Health Weinberg-PACE.

Vause most recently served as Vice President of NIDUS Development, where she was responsible for all of the company’s health care-related business lines, including overseeing clinical and administrative operations at an urgent care center, developing a multi-use medical office building and creating collaborative agreements with health care providers.From 2013 to 2017, Vause was Vice President of Clinical Operations, Community Based Care/Long Term Care for Buffalo-based Catholic Health System. She also formerly served as Catholic Health System’s Senior Director of Strategic Workforce Development (2004-2011) and Director of Staff Development (1999-2004).

Vause earned her Master of Science degree in nursing, leadership and management from Walden University, as well as a Master of Science degree in counseling and psychology from Troy State University in Troy, Alabama. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Niagara University, where she returned as an adjunct instructor from 2012 to 2014.

Vause got her start in health care working for Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C.

Vause lives in Orchard Park.
